Match Payment Timing to the Actual Premium Schedule
An ordinary-annuity setting places each periodic premium after that period's interest and percentage fee. An annuity-due setting places it before those calculations, giving the premium one additional period of exposure. The year-end annual premium is added after the final period of each complete year in both cases.
Compare timing only while keeping the premium amounts, rate, fee, and term unchanged. A positive timing advantage is a mathematical consequence of earlier funding under the entered assumptions. It is not a bonus, guarantee, or evidence that the contract uses the same crediting dates.

Actual contracts can also contain fixed charges, mortality and expense costs, fund expenses, riders, premium taxes, surrender charges, or commissions that this single percentage field does not model.
