Exact age is decomposed in calendar order rather than by dividing days by 365. The calculator counts completed annual anniversaries, then no more than 11 complete months after the last anniversary, then the remaining days. This preserves the unequal lengths of months and leap years.

Scenario arithmetic uses the exact day count as its common base. Rates are not adjusted by age, sleep, exercise, illness, medication, or any other information that the form does not collect. Keeping the formulas visible makes that limitation auditable.
