Part-to-whole shares should total 100% apart from display rounding, while a unit rate keeps one unit in its denominator and retains unlike measurement units. Arithmetic alone cannot validate the practical setup, so retain order, units, category definitions, source precision, and relevant technical or safety requirements beside the answer.
